Edmonton North Terminal Details

This project is a major expansion at Enbridge’s’ North Terminal located in Edmonton, AB. Enbridge’s Edmonton Terminal is the starting point of their mainline system — the world’s longest, most complex crude oil pipeline system, delivering more than 2.2 million barrels of crude and liquids daily. This Terminal is one of Enbridge’s largest and most critical Terminal facilities to their operation. This facility handles many commodities (crude oil and liquids) from numerous customers.

Most of this work on this project was completed for Worley Parsons Cord. Work was also completed direct to Enbridge and for other General Contractor’s on site. This long term, multimillion dollar project for PPC included shop and field blasting, painting and coating of pipe and structural steel. There were numerous above and below ground tie-ins, modifications to existing piping and structural steel, and field touch-ups to new pipe and structural steel. Internal and external, plural component, 100% solids epoxy coating systems were applied for below grade applications. Coatings were both spray and hand (brush and roll) applied on site and in the shop.
