NACE Certified Blasting, Coating and Painting Supervision
Our clients’ specifications usually require formal, documented inspections completed by accredited coating inspectors. PPC supervisors are NACE certified inspectors. This ensures specifications are adhered to and abrasive blasting, painting and coating applications and inspections are compliant with project requirements.
ACSA Recognized Supervisors & Safety Training
Paragon Protective Coatings (PPC) supervisors receive both internal and external (ACSA recognized) supervisor safety training. We hold a Certificate of Recognition from the ACSA, and are ISNet, ComplyWorks and Avetta compliant. PPC management, including but not limited to our corporate safety officer, are experienced and formally trained construction professionals.
Paragon Protective Coatings (PPC) Capabilities
Our 15,000 sq.ft. Edmonton shop with 40-ton overhead crane capacity, and additional independent shop structures are well suited to support large diameter pipeline and facility construction work. In the field, PPC is well equipped with mobile blasting and coating rigs and is able to execute numerous concurrent construction projects. Dedicated Edmonton shop and yard facilities support the activities of the field crews.

Industrial Grit Blasting, Painting and Coating Projects
Cheecham Project
Paragon Protective Coatings (PPC) Ltd. provided abrasive blasting, painting and coating of above and below grade piping components and equipment in the shop and in the field. Touch-up work was completed on mechanical, electrical and structural installations – above and below grade.
Enbridge North Terminal
Paragon Protective Coatings (PPC) Ltd. provides ongoing blasting, painting and coating services at the Enbridge Edmonton Terminal. This Terminal is a key component of the world’s longest, most complex crude oil pipeline system, delivering more than 2.2 million barrels of crude and liquids daily.
Numerous heavy industrial projects and maintenance scopes have been completed at this terminal; this work is contracted to both Enbridge and their prime contractors.
Pipeline Maintenance - Integrity Digs
Paragon Protective Coatings (PPC) Ltd. provide Enbridge, Pembina and TC Energy ongoing pipeline maintenance service support on Integrity Digs. Our scope typically includes the grit blasting removal of existing coatings for inspection, and replacement of these coatings once remedial work to the pipeline is complete.
